Found this Comment on a Nautilus blog article about the Founders of Artificial Intelligence and their theories of the Mind:

"Please explain how the physical systems of the brain can build anything without having been 'logically' built to use their own inherent logic to otherwise magically switch their logical production on and off? How do they infuse meaning in the information they are supposedly offering with a yes, no and maybe system of controls? I've been told that computers do this because they have human controllers who apply the computations to the hypothetical sets of 'meanings' that the computations have given them a tool to choose among them with. So what 'human' did the brain use before it was constructed within the human that heretofor had no brain to construct it with? And what intelligence did any of these humans use before their particular brains grew complete enough to be usable?"
